First art project. This turned out way better than I thought it would. I drew everything out by pencil very neatly, then erased it and decided to use pastels that way I couldn't erase everything again.
In class we drew out 8 random pictures... we only had a few minutes to draw each picture so it was incomplete. After we finished the random drawings we had to incorporate it into one big picture and make a story out of it.
I decided to use the eye as my beginning because this is what I see through my eye. Which I thought would be a cool perspective. I had a lot of random things to incorporate; super hero broccoli, a pickle on a chair, a car, a tree, a raccoon, mac and cheese and a barn. I decided to make the tree the center piece of the picture and draw everything around it. I put the giraffe next to the tree, like he was eating leaves, and then drew the barn next to it. Now I had to figure out where the little things were going. I figured the raccoon would look good in the tree, the car would look good crashing into the barn, and the broccoli survived the crash miraculously. The mac and cheese and the pickle in the chair was tricky. I figured this picture was already random so I would have the raccoon and giraffe fight over the mac and cheese and the pickles in the chairs are sitting on the side watching this whole scene happen.
I thought this was a good first project considering the completely different things that were brought together to create a story!
